Citrus

Within Little Palestine the idea has always been to interplant citrus trees. I have finished my analysis and identified, with the help of Vanessa at Espaco Petrus, the varieties that I would like to plant. I have yet to place the order although need to decide today. There are two aspects that I am pondering. The size of the trees – there are two sizes, 6L and 10L, I have asked Vanessa what the difference is in age of the trees – I presume that one is 2 years and the other 3 or 4 years old. What size should I pick? I am not in a hurry and feel that a younger tree would be best and, of course, cheaper. The other concern is how many of each variety. I am going to opt for 2 of each. I like the idea of trying many and seeing which ones grow best.
