On the basis that it doesn’t make sense for 8bn of us to have ensuite bathrooms, I decided to create a communal water house containing all those amenities in a normal house that use water, a kitchen, showers and toilets.
Last November down in Castelo Branco, when visiting for a talk by Ernst Gostch, I met Eike Braselmann, a natural build designer and artist. We immediately clicked as I had wanted to do a natural build at Lavandeira; our two paths were destined to cross!
