Lavandeira is primarily a place for you to join in, produce food and experience nature. We provide land, resources and knowledge to locals, volunteers and students to join in.

Local community engagement
A space for you to grow your food as part of the Lavandeira community
Based on the principles of community gardens and allotments, you are provided with land, tools, resources and knowledge to create your own space in nature to grow your own food.
You will also participate in the joint community work on the common parts of Lavandeira.
Community land will produce food for sale in the farm shop. You will also be able to sell your food or value-added food products through the farm shop.

Different ways to participate
- Volunteer through Workaway and stay a minimum of 2 weeks for full board and lodging in return for 5 hours work per day
- Join one of open days to see how it all works and meet the others in the community.
- Become a member of the community and manage your own piece of land and work in the community for a couple of hours a week.
