This one has been a dream since I was 16, to be part of a movement that recognises that humankind is part of a greater whole.
On 2nd October I fly to Portugal to spend 6 weeks in a small town called Lagares da Beia in one of the poorest areas of Portugal.
In 2018, as part of my mission to show my girls a life beyond the city; after searching on Google for “Portugal permaculture volunteering”, we ended up spending 2 weeks with my dear friends Duncan and Hannah on their land in burnt-out ex-thriving agricultural area that was devastated by the rise of supermarkets in the 80s
